Day 8 – NAD Presidential Process Prayer

Requests are from General Conference 100 Days of Prayer and Desire of Ages. Lift up the members of the North American Division Nominating and Executive Committees, the General Conference Executive Committees, and their families. Pray that God’s will be done in the selection of the new North American Division President.

1. Pray for children of Adventist families who have lost their way or are in a state of confusion and rebellion.
2. Pray for the regular and self-supporting ministries of our church.
3. Pray for the life-giving power of Christ to bless our lives.
4. Pray that God’s people would follow Jesus’ example and avoid confrontation as much as possible, to not hasten the final crisis.
5. Pray to have the self-denial and self-less benevolence of Jesus in our lives.
6. Pray to share Christ’s life of purity, suffering, and devotion.
7. Pray to be ever touched by human woe, and empowered to help as Jesus did.
8. Pray to understand and share the life of Jesus with others.
9. Pray for the health of the NAD and General Conference committee members and their families.
10. Pray that NAD and GC committee members would now seek the Lord and avoid distractions.
11. Pray that, “when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him” (Isa. 59:19).
12. Pray for God to bless Elders Ted Wilson and Dan Jackson, and their departments.
13. Pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in the days leading to, and during, the meetings to choose the next NAD President.
