- Increase in us the living faith that works by love and purifies our souls.
- Teach us to press through in determined faith regardless of feelings.
- Strengthen our resolve to keep our bodies healthy so our minds are healthy.
- Heal us from self-pity; strengthen our sympathy with Jesus.
- Sanctify us by the truths we assent to.
- Give us a religious experience which will make us sons and daughters of the most high God.
- Help us not to be nervous and move from impulse.
- When tempted to blame others for failures, help us overcome our pride.
- Help us to encourage the presence of the good angels among us.
- Give us appropriate fear of trusting in ourselves for anything.
- Cure us of love for debate; teach us to pray and let You choose words.
- Heal us of sarcasm, jesting, joking, and judgmental thoughts and words.
- Help us to walk humbly and watch and guard every point against the attacks of Satan.
- Help our church and conference brethren in keeping the fort
