Today is the General Conference Day of Prayer and Fasting.
Download the Day of Prayer sermon/devotional and prayer requests here.

Requests are from General Conference Day of Prayer and Fasting and Pioneer Prayer for the NAD presidential process. Lift up the members of the North American Division Nominating and Executive Committees, the General Conference Executive Committees, and their families. Pray that God’s will be done in the selection of the new North American Division President.

  1. Thank the Lord Jesus that He will return soon (Revelation 22:20).
  2. Pray for deep solemnity to be in our advent meetings as in the pioneer days (Hebrews 12:28).
  3. Pray for God to sanctify church leaders to do His will.
  4. Pray that the world may hear the tidings of Christ’s soon return (Matthew 24:14).
  5. Pray that God would anoint a shepherd after His heart to be the NAD president.
  6. Pray for a love for Bible truth to be awakened in our hearts (John 17:17).
  7. Pray for each member of the NAD nominating and executive committees, and the GC executive committee.
  8. Pray for the Holy Spirit to explain Bible prophecies to us (John 16:13).
  9. Pray that we may be prepared for the judgment and Jesus’ return (Ephesians 5:26-27).
  10. Pray that we may not wander needlessly in darkness and despair (John 8:12).
  11. Pray that God will forgive our sins (1 John 1:9).
  12. Pray that we would encourage others (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
  13. Pray for a mighty revival and reformation to sweep the global church.

Pray SHORT:

  • Scripture (Claim Bible promises. John 15:7)
  • Harmony (Agree with others. Matt. 18:19, 20)
  • Order (Pray focused, SHORT, audible prayers, giving thanksgiving and praise. 1 Cor. 14:40)
  • Righteousness (Claim Christ’s blood and merits, confess unworthiness. 1 Pet. 1:19/ 1 Jn. 3:21)
  • Total (Pray as a team—use plural personal pronouns, weus, and our instead of, Ime, and my. Matt. 6:9-13)
